The South Carolina Student Health Insurance is a health plan offered by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for students attending one of these universities:

• Clemson
• Coastal Carolina
• Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC)
• The Citadel
• The University of South Carolina (USC)
• Winthrop

At the start of the 2019-2020 academic school year, referrals were no longer required before students could be seen for services.  For the upcoming 2020-2021 academic school year, this change will stay in place.  You are able to service members with this health plan without a referral.
